4/6/12 A Good Friday Service of Meditation and Prayer (This service spanned the hours from 12-3 when Jesus hung upon the cross for our sins. The service was predominantly a time of silent prayer and contemplation, though the prayer was broken on each half-hour mark to reflect on an aspect of what Christ came to do. The brief devotions on the half-hour mark are what is found below. They are designed primarily as contemplative aids to solemn prayer.)
